This dissemination booklet identifies and describes outstanding vocational and career education practices which are operating in Alaskan public schools. The sixteen programs are arranged in the following format: overview of the program; special facilities and/or equipment needed; instructional materials developed/used/adapted; key ingredients for success; budget analysis; historical background; recommendations to districts wishing to utilize that particular practice; and a program analysis. This analysis includes expected student outcomes, emphasis, groups involved, group size, environment, resources used, and evaluation. (CT)
