Yackel, Donald D.
Each year pupils and teachers at the Warren Harding School in Rochester, New York, participate in a comprehensive outdoor education program. The activities may be designed on a short-term basis to expose students to an area not previously known or may extend over a longer period of time to obtain indepth exposure. Extensive use is made of neighborhood and community resources. Included are a general statement of the philosophy behind the program and a listing of program goals, as well as a detailed description of the program site and implementation of the program.
