SPECS Field Test Site Event Chronologies.

This set of chronologies tells the stories of fourteen sites--thirteen public school districts and one community college--that participated in the 1974 field test of the School Planning, Evaluation, and Communication System (SPECS). The collection is intended to provide a resource for teachers, administrators, board members, and university professors who might be considering the implementation of SPECS or a similar system. The chronologies have been verified to be accurate by key administrators, SPECS consultants, and development team members, but all site names are fictitious. Some of the stories chronicle successes, and others tell the stories of districts that encountered many problems in their implementation attempts. (Author/JM)
