Knox, Keith

Topics discussed in the paper include the power spectrum approach to fluctuations and noise, with particular reference to biological structures; "l/f-like" fluctuations in speech and music and the functioning of a cerebral cortical field; subjective time and temporal focusing, auditory processing, and speech rate; and J.R. Klauder's phenomenon, with special reference to the "shot noise" case. (Author/FL)
