Seventeen articles used to convey the South Carolina advisory council's 1977-78 evaluation of vocational and technical education in South Carolina are presented. Why Not?"; "The Trend to Advisory Councils"; "A Review of the State's Evaluation of Vocational Education Programs on the Local Level"; "Where the Federal Funds for Vocational Education Were Spent in South Carolina, 1977-78"; "Comments on the Annual Reports from the State Manpower Services Council"; and "The Status of the State Occupational Information Coordinating Committee." Responses to 1977 recommendations made by the South Carolina advisory council are given by the state board of education and the state board for technical and comprehensive education.
