This booklet describes the role and activities of the steering committee and its subcommittees during the survey phase and planning phase of a new Lutheran high school. All the steps that are to be taken in determining the feasibility of starting a new Lutheran high school in the community are outlined. Other information includes a job description for the steering committee and five subcommittees, a sequential list of each major activity and its subpoints, suggestions of whom to involve, suggested communication procedures, sources of information, and references to other materials that are available. The booklet also defines the interrelationship between the subcommittees, steering committee, and the church structure. (Author/MLF)
