Changing Schools: Open Corridors and Teacher Center.

The events of the tenth anniversary celebration of the Open Corridor program in New York City schools are presented in this publication. These events include: a tribute to Lillian Weber, a case history of the implementation of an open education program in a specific New York City public school, a description of community involvement efforts, addresses by leaders of Open Corridor offshoot programs and presentations on reading in the open classroom and developing teacher centers. In addition, salutes from city government officials, educators and parents, as well as a breakdown by date of various Open Corridor events from 1968 to 1978, are included. (PR)
