Keys to Educational Opportunity in Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency, Harrisburg.; Pennsylvania Association of Colleges and Universities, Harrisburg.
This publication is divided into three sections that provide profiles of the colleges and universities in Pennsylvania, program listings, and information on student aid. The guide is designed to help high school students and their counselors select those programs and institutions of higher education that best match the students' needs, interests, and resources. The institutional profiles present general information, admission procedures, admission requirements, 1975 Scholastic Aptitude Test scores and class rank in fifths, information on financial aid, and a brief description of unique or distinctive features of the college. The program listings are organized according to the taxonomy of the Higher Education General Information Survey, which classifies all degree programs into major areas of study. A profile of student aid for Pennsylvanians through the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) and a list of regional offices of PHEAA are provided. Very brief summaries of the following federal programs are included: Basic Educational Opportunity Grant Program, National Direct Student Loan Program, Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant Program, and College Work-Study Program.
