Lifelong Learning: A Proposal for Communication Instruction for the Elderly.

A program for lifelong learning for the elderly is proposed in this paper. The paper advocates communication education for the elderly; specifies communication concepts related to the older learner, including self-concept, role adaptation, and problem solving; explains instructional methods appropriate to the communication concepts; and offers pedagogical advantages of this type of program for learners and instructors.
