This document contains the assessment materials developed for the Model Accountability System (MAS), a career education project conducted by the Mesa (Arizona) Unified School District. Primarily, the MAS was designed to identify terminal career education behaviors according to several themes, specify assessment items for each objective, and provide a monitoring system and mastery profile for the individual student, class, school, grade, and district (K-12). (See CE 020 346 for a detailed description of the project activities and results.) Included in this document are the following materials: (1) scripts to assessment instruments for grades K-2 and 3-12; (2) teacher's copies of the inventories for grades K-3; student's copies of the inventories for grades K-12; and (4) keys to all inventories (K-12).
