This document is the instructor's manual for a course on supervisory management as it relates to the water or wastewater treatment field. Each of the seven modules is concerned with a segment of the management/supervision process and corresponds to reading material in an accompanying text. An objective and subjective test portion is included with each lesson of a module. Module topics are: (1) introduction to management; (2) responsibility toward delegation and motivation; (3) problem solving and communication skills; (4) planning and organizing; (5) staffing; (6) responsibility in directing and controlling; and (7) relations with the union and employees.
