This glossary is designed for practitioners who have no special preparation in public sector labor relations but who must know its vocabulary because of their growing involvement in the field. For those practitioners whose jurisdictions lie within the six midwestern states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin, the names and addresses of administrative agencies operating in these states are included, as well as the title and nature of each state's law addressing its public employees. Names, addresses, and publications of the major employee organizations active in the public sector, with special attention to those in the above six states, are also included. (Author/JM)
