This report was prepared for use by the professional toxicologist. It contains chapters on ingestion exposure, dermal and dye toxicity tests, inhalation exposure, chronic toxicity and carcinogenicity tests, mutagenicity tests, reproduction and teratogenicity tests, and behavioral toxicity tests. In addition, regulations under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act are discussed. Information is also given on animal husbandry, and lists are presented of tests for monitoring toxic effects, organs used to obtain relative organ weights, and tissues used for histopathology. (BB)
