Chapters focus on (1) stable jobs for parents, (2) public support for the poorest families, (3) equal job chances for all parents, (4) combining jobs and parenthood, (5) social services for all families, (6) child health and safety, and (7) the politics of children. A list of organizations and resources from which statistics, research, policies, and programs may be obtained is included. (Author/RH)
