Substantial discussion is devoted to sources of school law (common law, state and federal constitutions, state and federal statutes); the legal framework of West Virginia's public schools; student, teacher, and administrator rights and responsibilities; and financing public education in West Virginia. There are brief discussions of legal aspects of collective bargaining and accountability in West Virginia.
