Development and Validation of Competency Based Instructional Systems for Adult, Post Secondary, Special Needs, and Entrepreneurship Via the IDECC System. Final Report.
Broadnax, Reginald; And Others
The Interstate Distributive Education Curriculum Consortium (IDECC) was used as the nucleus in a five-part project to develop competency-based instructional systems for (1) adult distributive education, (2) postsecondary education, (3) special needs (of handicapped and disadvantaged groups), (4) additional occupations (such as marketing and distribution), and (5) entrepreneurship. Through the utilization of consultants and other professionals for each specialized area of the project, competencies were identified and learning activities were developed, tested, and refined.
