The instructor-free, empirically-based training package is designed to teach personnel at all levels to develop and implement individual program plans for severely handicapped, developmentally disabled persons in their own agencies. The package consists of a six-chapter trainee workbook (individual program planning and the interdisciplinary team, goals, objectives, strategies, evaluation, and application) which presents information as well as directions for proceeding through the exercises and provides the trainee with a permanent record of the training experiences and a reference source. An appendix provides references for further information, data on standards, background reports on a practice client, and suggested forms. (BD)
