A large Personalized System of Instruction (PSI) program, covering all introductory college mathematics, was established at the University of Arizona primarily because of favorable student attitude and cost effectiveness data. However, a change in evaluation questionnaire items and analysis led to an apparent change in student attitude results. The conclusion is that student attitude results should be approached cautiously by directors of PSI programs. (MP)
