Project MAVE. Model for Articulated Vocational Education. A Final Report.
The purpose of this project was to develop an articulation model which can be adopted by any school system in Illinois. The objectives were to field test and evaluate the Project MAVE (Model for Articulated Vocational Education) Articulation Model(s) in various educational settings and to refine the model(s). There were seven implementation procedures utilized. The procedures were: (1) continue investigation, (2) obtain and set up field test sites, (3) develop audio-visual presentation, (4) field test, (5) evaluate effectiveness of model(s), (6) refine the model(s), and (7) disseminate project information. The Project MAVE Models, which can be adopted by any system in Illinois, provide the organization and mechanism for developing a planned vocational sequential program; coordinating students' interests and abilities with counseling procedures for student placement, staff development, and institutional relationships; strengthening the education system in general; and interlocking with resources available within the community.
