Survey of Faculty Opinion at Kansas State University. Research Report No. 35.
Bennett, C. A.; Griffitt, W. B.
A survey of all 1,000 Kansas State University faculty was conducted in August 1975 by the KSU chapter of the American Association of University Professors. Results from the 459 usable returns are detailed in statistical and narrative form. Ninety percent of the faculty indicated high degrees of liking their positions. Although a number of areas were found where many faculty see the need for improvements--such as salary, finge benefits, and planning for job security--there seem to be no "burning issues" at this beginning of a new university administration. The survey form is appended. (Author/LBH)
