The final report summarizes the activities, findings, and recommendations of an Illinois demonstration project to field test a new curriculum ("We Can Help") on the identification, reporting, referral and case management of child abuse. Sections of the report provide information on the original plan of operations, project staff, planning for implementation, training conducted, curriculum critique, evaluation, and fiscal information. Five recommendations for use of the curriculum are given for such areas as start-up training and inservice training. More than half the report consists of the following appendixes: a summary of training sessions by areas, daily agendas of training sessions, unit descriptions, a listing of potential training audiences, an annotated bibliography of films and filmstrips, a description of stages of normal child development, and project forms.
