Calgary Board of Education Administrative Evaluation.
Jesse, K. A.
This paper begins with summaries of research on individual characteristics of effective administrators and on the effectiveness of administrator evaluation. The paper then presents materials, forms, and questionnaires used in the Calgary (Alberta) public schools administrative evaluation process. The evaluation process includes a personal administrative review form, a priority report in which the administrator outlines three or four major priorities for the year, staff evaluation reports, staff interviews, a community involvement survey, a progress report, a time management survey, budget review, and student interviews. Tables present results of the 1978 evaluation. (IRT)
