Analysis of Planned Change Within Comprehensive Senior High Schools That Individualize Instruction.

This research study focused on the change process that was used to bring about individualized schooling in six comprehensive senior high schools. The first chapter contains an overview of the study including a statement of the problem, background of the study, and a review of related literature. In the second chapter the six schools are comprehensively described. These descriptions outline the city and district background, school population, physical facilities, individualized program history, curriculum, teacher student advisement program, administrative and organizational arrangements, and support agencies. Presentation and analysis of data obtained from each school comprises the third chapter. The final chapter presents a summary of the study, findings, conclusions, and implications for further study.
