An analysis is made of the personal and educational experiences of the 1972, 1974, and 1976 graduates of two high schools, based on their responses to a survey form sent during the month of April, 1977. Data from parents and employers of these students, as well as from students who had left school before graduating, are also included. The population numbered 2,535 former students. A stratified sample was taken from the three classes with 150 students randomly selected from each class. The graduates' educational and employment activities, as well as selected attitudes toward the high school experience, are reported. Subjective and objective responses were elicited by questions aimed at uncovering pertinent data related to the following: educational and occupational activity; type of educational institution attending or attended; employment situation; usefulness of high school courses; person or persons most helpful in planning for the future; helpfulness of high school in those areas students perceived to be of value; suggestions, observations or changes related to high school training; personal data.
