The paper describes the system of conductive education for use with cerebral palsy and multihandicapped children which is based on the research of A. Peto. Conductive education is explained to involve such techniques as individualization of program and instruction, task analysis, transdisciplinary team organization, generalization of all learning, integration of language with perceptual-motor training, and a structured learning environment.
