The Federal-Indian policy of reservation government; the Federal Agent's role in working among the Oglala Sioux; the State and Federal laws and their effect on the Oglala Sioux; the contemporary origin and structure of the Oglala Sioux tribal government; and the constitution and by-laws of the Oglala Sioux tribe of the Pine Ridge Reservation are also described.
