The New England Board of Higher Education conducted a salary survey among the 51 New England Junior College Council member institutions. The questionnaire sought information about salaries of selected administrators, full-time faculty, and fringe benefits for full-time faculty. Of the 35 responding colleges, 20 were public and 15 were private colleges. Minimum, maximum, and mean salaries are provided for the various administrative and faculty positions at public and private colleges as well as the frequency distributions of these salaries. A summary of the fringe benefits includes information on retirement plans, medical plans, life insurance, long-term disability protection, Workmen's Compensation, and "cash tuition" for children. (RN)
