The results of the second 18 months (December 15, 1968 - June 30, 1970) of effort toward developing an Information Processing Laboratory for research and education in library science is reported in six volumes. This volume contains two parts. Part I includes: a user's guide - a guide to writing programs to TMS (Terminal Moniter System) for information processing. Part II is a system programmer's guide to the internal structure of TMS itself. The information presented in Part II is of critical importance to anyone interested in expanding or modifying the existing capabilities of TMS.
