This publication provides a detailed listing of enrollment of candidates for advanced degrees at each institution of higher education in each academic field. Overall summaries of 1968 enrollments for advanced degrees are presented in tables 1 and 2. Table 1 reports enrollment for master's and doctoral degrees, and table 2 reports enrollment for first-professional degrees in selected fields. Table 3, comprising the bulk of the report, lists institutional enrollments in alphabetical order by state within each subject field. (Author/HS)
