The Research Review--June 1971.
The report is published to help inform employees of the Economic Development Administration and Regional Commissions of the nature, results, and applications of regional development research. Articles in this issue discuss: (1) a multiregional input-output model for the United States, (2) implications of rural-urban migration for regional development and growth center policies, and (3) a composite mapping system for location research. Also, agency research and training projects described relate to: (1) urban development, (2) changing employment and income structure, (3) a municipal information system, (4) a national urban development policy, and (5) the role of growth centers in regional development policy. A variety of studies in relation to industrial plant locations, planning regional development, and public investment and student internship programs are included, along with a list of research reports.
