This interim thesaurus contains search terms used to describe the contents of nearly 8,000 documents which have been announced in the weekly journal "Highway Safety Literature." The journal contains information about research reports and other documents of interest to the traffic safety community, including information about planned, in-progress, and completed research. To provide access to this collection, the thesaurus provides listings of broad terms, narrow terms, related terms, and scope notes when necessary. (BH)
