Administrative Pattern for Public Post Secondary Vocational Technical Education in Nebraska.
Eicher, Robert Stanley
The purpose of this study was to determine how public post secondary vocational education in Nebraska should be organized, financed, coordinated, and administered. The procedure included a review of the literature, development of a list of principles and guidelines in questionnaire form, referral of the questionnaire to a jury of experts, and comparison of the evaluations of the jury with current practices in Nebraska. The study concludes that vocational education is primarily the State's responsibility, requiring a master plan and a strong advisory group. Local advisory groups are recommended for each program offered in the area centers which are needed throughout the state. (Author/BH)
