Performance and Process Objectives.

This brief, introductory booklet defines what is meant by "performance" and "process" objectives and how each type contributes to the steps necessary for incorporating "accountability" into the evaluation of a given educational program. Further, the booklet provides a set of procedures for developing and writing both performance and process objectives. The booklet also discusses the point that the validity of process objectives can only be determined when they can be related to performance objectives. This then necessitates the developing and writing of performance objectives at all those levels of the educational structure for which process objectives are going to be written. (Author)
