Intended for public school administrators, teachers, and speech and hearing clinicians, the document contains guidelines for setting up programs to implement the statewide mandatory special education plan for hearing impaired children in Indiana. Outlined are procedures to follow in comprehensive programing for the following categories of the hearing impaired: infants (ages 6 months - 2 years), preschool (ages 2-5 years), hearing impaired (ages 6-21 years), and multiply handicapped hearing impaired (ages 6 months - 21 years).
