ORGANIZATION AND PHYSICAL APPEARANCE: The guide is in five parts: 1) "The Place of Physical Education in the Elementary School"; 2) "Developing the Physical Education Offering"; 3) "Analysis of Skills"; 4) "Physical Education Activities"; and 5) "Related and Supplementary Materials." The guide is printed, illustrated with photographs, and edition bound with a soft cover. OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES: The objectives for the program are listed at the beginning of part two. Activities are given for primary, middle, and upper elementary grades, subdivided into rhythms, games, game skill tests, stunts, relays, and, for upper grades only, calisthenics. Very precise details, including diagrams where necessary, are given for each activity, and there is an extensive bibliography of books and records.
