Syllabus for Use in Mandarin Chinese Language II.

This syllabus for teachers of the second year of a course in Mandarin Chinese is based on the texts "Beginning Chinese" and "Beginning Chinese Reader" by John DeFrancis. The objectives and scope of the audiolingual course cover Chinese grammar, additional Chinese characters, syntax, and phonology. Emphasis is placed on development of reading and writing skills.
