This updated, revised edition of a report published in 1965 provides a broad overview of the Mongolian educational system. The first chapter, An Outline of the Educational System, includes discussions of the growth of the public education system; types of education; teacher training; curricula; school calendars; textbooks; and administration. The second chapter, Quantitative Development of Education, focuses primarily on planning. Educational Projection up to 1980, Chapter 3, looks at projections for general education, secondary specialized education, higher education, and overall costs.
