Guidelines and policies for presenting gifts to school personnel and for solicitations are presented. Giving and soliciting that range from the innocuous and perhaps desirable to activities that could be troublesome and even dangerous are considered. Suggestions for policy positions for what is to be permitted and what isn't are developed.
