This report of the Committee on Public Relations was developed as a result of the National Conference on Distributive Education held in Washington, D.C. in 1948. Included are general considerations and a complete plan for public relations and promotion including a suggested schedule and followup activities. The manual was intended to be a reservoir of information in distributive education public relations, useful for local personnel, for professional staff members in state departments of education and the Office of Education, and for the training of teachers and other personnel in the methods and procedures of initiating and developing a planned program of effective public relations.
