This document is the annual report on the educational research and research-related activities carried out pursuant to the authorizations of the Cooperative Research Act for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1969. The master focus of the report is on the educational research, surveys, and demonstrations, the information dissemination activities, and the research training receiving Cooperative Research support administered by the National Center for Educational Research and Development, Office of Education. To place these activities within the context of the Office's support for educational research, the report also includes general information about activities funded under other authorizations for research and related activities. The activities discussed are subsumed under two main headings: 1) major continuation programs and 2) projects in specified areas. Major continuing programs include such organizations as the Educational Resources Information Center and the nine Research and Development Centers. Projects in specified areas cover a wide range of topics, from early childhood education to teacher education. (RT)
