Comprehensive Analytical Methods for Planning in University Systems (CAMPUS) and Computerized Analysis Adapting the Techniques of Simulation to Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology (CAATS)-2 are combined to represent a computer based information and planning system. This system is designed to help the community colleges of Ontario gain the maximum educational advantage from their resources, and to demonstrate their needs to the public and government. The major characteristics of this system are discussed and its implementation illustrated with three case studies. The organization and capabilities of the Systems Research Group are also explained.
