Susu Intermediate Course. Final Report.
Sangster, Linda W.; Faber, Emmanuel
This intermediate text in Susu is intended to provide the student of Susu with further practice on the grammatical constructions learned in the Basic Course. (See related document AL 001 956.) It is also intended to provide the student with some practice in reading Susu, and to help him gain some appreciation of the cultural life of the Susu in Guinea and in Africa. The text contains 25 lessons, some consisting of more than one part. Each lesson centers around a Susu-African cultural setting. Each part contains dialogs introducing new vocabulary and grammatical points, the text, grammatical and cultural notes, a listing of compound and derived words, comprehension exercises, and questions in Susu. A Susu/English vocabulary listing completes this book. (No French appears in this volume.) Tapes of the dialogs, texts, and comprehension exercises will be forthcoming. (AMM)
