A booklet prepared by the U.S. Office of Education and the Office of Economic Opportunity describes the types of educational programs which are eligible for federal funds. Following a brief discussion on some characteristics of the disadvantaged youngster, the document presents information about programs involving food, health care, and clothing. Most of the document is devoted to a wide range of educational programs which are presented under the headings of early, middle, and teen years.
