The Office of Institutional Research at the University of Colorado sent annual faculty report forms combining the service report and the report on scholarly, professional and university activities to all full time faculty members in November 1967. A total of 907 replies was received. The report measured: hours per week of professional activity; hours per week of professional activity by rank; distribution of time spent for all professional activities; mean estimated percentages of time spent (mepts) for instructional activities; mepts for graduate thesis supervision; mepts for student advising mepts for instructional activity by rank; mepts for research, scholarly writing and creative work; mepts for research scholarly writing and creative work by rank; mepts for professional service other than instructional activity, research, scholarly writing and creative work; mepts for professional service other than instructional activity, research, scholarly writing and creative work by rank; comparison of mean hours per week spent in professional activity in 1961 and 1967; comparison of mean hours per week spent in professional activity by teaching faculty of the Boulder Campus by rank in 1961 and 1967; comparison of distribution of faculty time in 1961 and 1967; comparison of distribution of time by teaching faculty of the Boulder Campus by rank in 1961 and 1967; comparison of mepts for instructional activities, for research, scholarly writing and creative work, and for professional service other than direct instructional activity, research, scholarly writing and creative work in 1961 and 1967.
