The major topic is the modular scheduling program developed for Virgin Valley High School in Mesquite, Nevada. The concept of modular units in curriculum planning is described with various modular units illustrated graphically. Also included is an example of a hand-generated modular schedule system which is adaptable in schools with a 200- to 33 with a 200- to 300-student population. A bibliography of publications relevant to modular scheduling is appended. The report is disseminated by Title III funds of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act.
