Analyzing Master Plan Influences.
Brotherton, F. Philip; Brubaker, Charles William
Junior College Journal, v37 n8 p22-27 April 1967
This illustrated outline of the college planning process pays particular attention to the factors influencing design considerations. A set of assumptions is given for each design influence followed by one or more design direction possibilities. Factors considered are--(1) the college program, (2) scheduling influences, (3) growth and finance, (4) available technology, (5) geography of the site, (6) climatological factors, (7) transportation, (8) community needs, and (9) community influences. Design sketches illustrate many of the suggested design directions. (RLP)
