Authoritative European research in audiovisual aids to learning is cataloged and summarized for the first time in this publication. The period covered is 1945 to 1963. Items are arranged by reference numbers which are based on 10 subject catagories: films, still projected media, non-projected media, museums, perception, radio, discs and tape recordings, television, teaching machines, and miscellaneous. Each abstract gives the purpose, procedure, and conclusions of a particular study, as well as its author, title (in language of origin and in English), reference number, source, publication date, page count, and country of origin. The scope and plan of "Part I--Bibliography" is explained. (BB)
