THE FIRST SECTION DESCRIBES 18 DIFFERENT COURSES OFFERED TO FRESHMEN IN THE FALL OF 1968. THE SECOND SECTION CONTAINS 12 PROPOSALS SUBMITTED BY TEACHERS FOR A NEW TWO-SEMESTER FRESHMAN ENGLISH COURSE. THE MAJOR PORTION OF THE DOCUMENT CONSISTS OF A REPORT ON 15 DIFFERENT COURSES TAUGHT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE FALL SEMESTER, 1967-68.
