CULBERTSON, JACK; AND OTHERS
THE MAJOR OBJECTIVE OF THE ARTICULATED MEDIA PROJECT (AMP) WAS TO DESIGN PROTOTYPE INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS FOR USE IN PREPARING EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATORS IN SUCH A WAY THAT CONCEPTS AND REALITY-ORIENTED ADMINISTRATIVE SITUATIONS WERE JOINED DURING THE DESIGN PROCESS. THREE DIFFERENT TYPES OF PROTOTYPE MATERIALS WERE DEVELOPED IN THE PROJECT--(1) A MANAGEMENT BARGAINING GAME, (2) MATERIALS DESIGNED TO GENERATE AND GIVE MEANING TO A NUMBER OF CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORKS RELATED TO PLANNED CHANGE, AND (3) A SET OF TWO COMPUTERIZED, SIMULATED ADMINISTRATIVE SITUATIONS BASED UPON SYSTEMS CONCEPTS. DETAILED INFORMATION IS PRESENTED ON THE VARIOUS MEDIA AND MATERIALS DEVELOPED. GENERALIZATIONS ARE MADE ABOUT THE PROTOTYPE MATERIALS, ORGANIZATION AND PROCESSES, AND IMPLICATIONS FOR THE FUTURE.
