THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF THE WESTERN CONFERENCE ON THE USES OF MENTAL HEALTH DATA ARE--(1) TO PROVIDE AN EFFECTIVE CHANNEL OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN ADMINISTRATORS AND ANALYSTS ABOUT PROGRAMS WITHIN AND BETWEEN STATES, AND (2) TO IDENTIFY TRAINING NEEDS AND ENCOURAGE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO MEET THEM. THIS REPORT DESCRIBES IN DETAIL PROCEEDINGS OF THE FIRST SUB-REGIONAL WORKSHOP OF THE CONFERENCE.
